To study the thermal behaviour of frits, ceramic glazes and bodies until the maximum temperature of 1600°C.
The function "optical dilatometer" allows to analyse thermal expansion of raw materials during the firing phase. This is very useful in studing crazing and peeling problems between glazes and bodies.
The function "optical microscope" is used to identify the tipical temperatures of a ceramic glaze or frit (sintering temperature, melting temperature, ...)
